Immediate Hiring - Experienced Caregiver Needed ASAP Serenity of Grace Home Care is hiring immediately for an experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one, non-medical care for an elderly client in their home. This position is URGENT. Shifts begin this week, and we are looking to hire the right caregiver as soon as possible. REQUIRED.

Experience providing personal care, transfers, toileting assistance, and mobility assistance. Experience using gait belts and assisting clients who use wheelchairs is strongly preferred. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What You'll Do Assist with wheelchair mobility and safe transfers. Provide toileting assistance while maintaining dignity and respect. Prepare meals and encourage adequate hydration. Provide companionship and meaningful conversation. Complete light housekeeping and laundry. Provide transportation to appointments or errands when scheduled. Provide medication reminders (no medication administration). Monitor the client's well-being and immediately report any changes or safety concerns. Documentation Accurately document each shift, including: Arrival and departure times Care provided Meals prepared Transportation completed Client's mood and condition Any incidents or concerns. Reliability is Essential Our clients depend on their caregivers every day. Because of this, reliability is one of the most important qualifications for this position. Attendance and punctuality are non-negotiable. Last-minute call-ins are only acceptable in the event of a true emergency. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be committed to working every scheduled shift. If you have difficulty maintaining consistent attendance or arriving on time, this position is not the right fit. Physical Requirements Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility. Ability to push a wheelchair. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as needed throughout the shift.
