OVERNIGHT

care aide, working two nine-hour shifts on Friday and Saturday nights. Overnight runs from 11:30pm to 8:30am. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, assisted living environments and building professional relationships with residents. This role involves providing essential support to residents through meal prepping and cooking for future meals and for breakfast, cleaning of the facility and ensuring a safe, respectful environment that promotes dignity and well-being. This is a part-time position only but would fill in PRN with the other two overnight staff in the future. This position will be a permanent position with the team. A clean criminal history and DHHS background is required. Duties

RESIDENT

RELATIONS- Building sincere strengths based/asset focused relationships, in a professional setting.

CLEANING/COOKING AND

MAINTENANCE- Verbal reminders to residents to ensure their daily living activities are completed, maintaining a healthy, clean safe home-like environment. DOCUMENTATION- of daily activities/interactions with residents, communicating with staff on other shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS/QUALIFICATIONS

One year experience with individuals who have special needs, preferably experience with mental illness. Ability to create and enhance a warm, friendly community living environment. Ability to prepare and cook meals for up to 23 people as well as clean up after the meal is over. Ability to bend stoop, lift to perform duties necessary to complete required job duties. We to not lift or bathe residents; they are independant at our facility. Follow the policy and procedures of the facility and food code guidelines established by the State of Nebraska Assisted Living Facilities. Qualifications Prior caregiving experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, NDHHS background check and drug test. Experience working in assisted living facilities or home care environments Excellent communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving abilities to support residents' emotional well-being. Ability to work effectively within HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information. Pay:

$17.00 - $18.50 per hour
