Home Care Assistance is looking for caring, dependable people who want to make a difference in the lives of seniors while building a career in home care. Our Caregiver Training Program gives you the opportunity to learn hands-on skills, work alongside experienced caregivers, and receive paid training before beginning your career with our team.

October 12-16, 2026 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Albuquerque, NM Space is limited, and applicants must complete an interview and hiring process before being accepted into the training program.

• HIPAA and confidentiality
• Abuse, neglect and exploitation awareness
• Caregiver responsibilities and expectations

PAY & BONUSES

Starting pay: $15-$16/hour Additional opportunities may include:

• Weekend pay differential
• $175 Perfect Attendance bonus opportunities

DOES A CAREGIVER DO?

Our caregivers provide non-medical support that helps seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes. Depending on the client's needs, caregivers may assist with:

• Bathing, grooming and dressing
• Toileting and personal care
• Mobility and transfers
• Meal preparation
• Companionship
• Light housekeeping
• Errands and transportation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't need years of experience to get started. We are looking for people who are:

• 18 years of age or older
• Dependable and compassionate
• Able to communicate professionally
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to complete required background and screening processes
• Able to safely assist clients with mobility after receiving proper training You do not necessarily need your own vehicle.

However, you must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a client's vehicle when needed.

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
