Whether assisting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, you'll be a trusted partner in their well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to enhance their comfort and dignity Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts, ensuring safety during movement Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Document care activities thoroughly, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia Knowledge of patient observation techniques Familiarity with HIPAA standards to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Strong communication skills for working with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and social workers Join us if you're passionate about providing empathetic, professional care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably at home.
