Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to seniors in various care settings. In this vital role, you will promote independence, ensure safety, and enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals by delivering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a warm, respectful environment where seniors feel valued and cared for every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings promptly Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident spaces Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing specialized memory care techniques and engaging activities Document patient observations, care provided, and updates in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each individual's needs Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive atmosphere conducive to well-being Experience Prior experience working in , assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes preferred Demonstrated knowledge of home health care practices and long-term elder care procedures Hands-on experience with patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Familiarity with dementia care, & hospice care Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Experience operating patient lifts (e.g., Hoyer lift) and performing heavy lifting safely is essential Strong understanding of safety protocols related to residential Group home Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors!
