Your responsibilities may include:

Provide assistance with activities of daily living based on each resident's individualized care plan Assist residents with personal care and daily routines while promoting independence and dignity Assist residents with transfers, lifts, repositioning, and transportation using appropriate techniques and equipment Help residents with mobility and maintain a safe environment Provide assistance with incontinence care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs as assigned Help protect residents' skin integrity through proper repositioning, personal care, and observation Get to know residents' individual needs, preferences, routines, and abilities Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor Communicate effectively with nurses, care team members, residents, families, and other departments Respond promptly and courteously to resident and family requests Create a warm, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents Follow individualized care plans and contribute observations that help the care team provide excellent care Follow infection prevention, safety, and proper hand hygiene procedures Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality Recognize and report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, mistreatment, or violations of residents' rights Participate in required training, competency programs, emergency drills, and safety activities Assist with resident evacuation and emergency procedures when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and team members Follow all company, community, health, safety, and regulatory requirements Maintain reliable attendance and arrive ready to work as scheduled The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Compassionate

Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Previous caregiving, healthcare, senior living, home care, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus Must be willing to complete required training and competency programs Must meet applicable health and employment requirements Must be able to work assigned shifts and maintain reliable attendance Don't have senior living experience? Physical Requirements This position involves active, hands-on care and requires the ability to: Move intermittently throughout the workday Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull as needed Assist with resident transfers, repositioning, and mobility Lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry at least 25 pounds as required by the position Use mechanical lifting or mobility equipment when appropriate Work safely around residents who may have physical, cognitive, or behavioral challenges Assist with emergency evacuation procedures when necessary Maintain the physical and emotional ability to provide safe and compassionate resident care Health & Safety Requirements Employees must meet applicable facility health requirements, including required health screenings and examinations, and comply with infection prevention and workplace safety policies.
