Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Nanny/Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to children in a private home setting. This vital role involves nurturing a young mind, ensuring her safety, and fostering a positive environment for growth and development. Duties Provide attentive childcare for a 19 month old ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks Engage her in educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises that promote learning and creativity Assist with preschool routines such as nap times, diaper changes, and potty training Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing residential housekeeping duties such as cleaning toys, children's areas. Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations while following safety protocols at all times Foster positive behavior management strategies that encourage good manners, social skills, and independence Skills Proven experience working with children across different age groups, especially infants and toddlers Strong background in nannying or private home childcare with children Knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, preschool activities, and working with children with disabilities Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare needs such as cleaning toys and children's areas Certification in first aid and CPR is perferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and positive attitude in caregiving roles
