Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable professional to join our care team and provide high-quality in-home support to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. In this role, you will help promote comfort, dignity, safety, and independence while building respectful relationships with the individuals you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as directed by the care plan. Support clients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation. Provide companionship and emotional support in a respectful and professional manner. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, hydration, and light housekeeping tasks as needed. Remind clients to take medications according to agency guidelines and care instructions. Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and follow all care plan requirements. Use proper infection control, safety, and confidentiality practices at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related caregiving role is preferred. Completion of required training or certification for home health aide or personal care assistance, as applicable. Ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and work independently. Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, respectful, and caring approach. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with client care. Reliable transportation and the ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
