Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to provide personalized in-home support and assistance to clients who need help with daily living activities. In this role, you will help promote comfort, dignity, safety, and independence while delivering attentive care in a home-based setting. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as appropriate Support mobility and transfer activities while following safe assistance practices Help with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks Provide reminders for medications and daily routines, according to care plans and agency guidelines Offer companionship and emotional support to encourage well-being and engagement Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor Follow care instructions, safety procedures, and all applicable policies and regulations Maintain accurate and timely records as required Qualifications Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related support role preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to provide respectful, patient, and compassionate care Basic understanding of personal care and household support tasks Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and work independently Physical ability to perform job duties, which may include lifting, standing, walking, and assisting with transfers Reliable transportation and punctuality Current certification or training as required by local regulations or employer standards Preferred Attributes Positive, caring, and professional demeanor Attention to detail and commitment to client safety Flexibility to support changing care needs and schedules Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families What We Offer Supportive and respectful work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives Training and development opportunities, where available Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds who are qualified for the role.
