As a Caring for Caregivers Counselor, you will provide brief assessments, counseling, referral, care management and related support services for Caring for Caregivers/EAP participants. In this role, you will serve as a key member of Cleveland Clinic's Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing assessment, case management, short-term counseling and support for both mandatory and voluntary caregivers, primarily healthcare professionals with concerns such as substance use, mental health or cognitive issues. You will manage sensitive and complex cases with discretion, professionalism and high emotional intelligence while collaborating with hospital leadership and working across all organizational levels. A caregiver in this role works a day/evening rotation Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Main Campus. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide brief assessment, counseling, and referral services to employees and eligible household dependents participating in the Caring for Caregivers programs, including the employee assistance program (EAP). Provide case management and monitoring services to mandatory participants, including those referred through the organization's expanded drug testing program. Provide onsite and virtual support services, including critical incident response (CIR). Provide consultation and training to organizational leaders and employees. Staff all critical cases with senior Caring for Caregivers leadership. Complete all documentation in adherence to professional and departmental standards. Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Master's degree in one of the Behavioral Sciences Ability to speak, read, and write in English Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (LIMFT) in the state of Ohio May require periodic adjustment of work hours to support a 24/7 operation Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) Five years of experience in one or more EAP related areas, providing direct counseling in outpatient mental health, substance abuse, or related setting Direct employee assistance program (EAP) experience

Physical Requirements:

A high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC. Normal or corrected vision and hearing. Extensive sitting and frequent walking. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary:

$57,510.00

Maximum Annual Salary:

$87,697.50 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
