Upton Heights Apartments- Upton Heights offers permanent, supportive housing to ten qualifying individuals. This apartment building was built in 2016. Upton Heights is the first housing development of its kind in Defiance County. Upton Heights houses individuals at risk of homelessness who are recovering from co-occurring mental health and substance abuse diagnoses. The supportive environment will enhance health and recovery.

Position Overview:

As a Residential Monitor, you'll be a consistent, supportive presence at Upton Heights - assisting tenants, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and helping build a community rooted in dignity and recovery. Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to all policies and procedures developed by NHDC. Participate in any required training, attend staff meetings, and pass certification, including CPR/First Aid Certification. Attend refresher courses as required. Engage with residents in encouraging ways - facilitating social, life skills, or hygiene activities as appropriate. Act as contact person to note tenant complaints and forward issues on to supervisor(s). Assist with light cleaning, snow/ice removal, and maintaining a safe environment. Document resident interactions and observations in daily shift reports. Report any behavioral concerns or safety issues to the appropriate contacts. Understand, respect, and follow through with confidentiality requirements for all New Home Development housing participants/tenants. Monitor camera feeds

Qualifications:

Position Hours:

This is a third shift position with hours during the week, every other weekend (12-hour shifts), and holidays as scheduled.
