As a Resident Assistant , you'll help residents with daily activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. You'll build meaningful relationships with residents and help them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
What You'll Need:
Must be at least 18 years old Resident Assistant and First Aid training, or willingness to complete required training Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed What You'll Do as a
Resident Aide:
Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living Support residents during meals, activities, and recreational programs Follow individualized care plans while encouraging independence and resident choice Observe and report changes in residents' condition, behavior, or needs Complete required documentation and resident care records accurately Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Why Join Genacross?
