Samaritan Care Center & Villa of Medina is a non-profit healthcare campus with a 56-bed Skilled Nursing Facility and 26-bed Assisted Living Community. Our primary focus is providing high quality nursing care and other related services for residents in need. Our services include short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care. NEW CAREGIVERS ARE WELCOME

• Starting NEW Caregivers at $16/hour (plus additional incentives) Caregivers are required to routinely care for residents. The position requires the ability to exercise judgment on various patient care matters.

Major responsibilities include:

Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with personal hygiene and serving meals Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests Documents and records care provided, notifying the nurse-on-duty of any changes in condition Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures. Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential. Serves and protects the long-term care community by adhering to professional standards, campus policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and ODH standards. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Enhances nursing department and healthcare campus reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Complies and implements the Patient Bill of Rights Complies with the Employee Responsibilities as described in the

Employee Handbook Qualifications:

Previous caregiver experience is preferred. Previous experience in long term care is preferred.
