Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and nurturing care to children and individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and enriching environment that promotes growth, development, and well-being. Duties Supervise and engage children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, elementary school-age children, and infants, ensuring their safety at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, creativity, and social skills Provide hands-on childcare including feeding, diapering, bathing, and maintaining hygiene routines for infants and toddlers Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child safety or well-being Administer first aid and CPR when necessary to address minor injuries or emergencies promptly Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care to meet individual needs Maintain a clean, safe environment by following health guidelines for daycare or classroom settings Assist in the development of early childhood education programs that foster growth in childhood development milestones Experience Previous experience working with children across various age groups including infants, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Demonstrated experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred Familiarity with activity planning tailored for young children's interests and developmental stages Valid certifications in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training in childhood safety is a plus Understanding of behavior management strategies suitable for young children Classroom experience or youth program teaching experience is highly valued Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive!
