Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Whether assisting with daily activities or monitoring health needs, you'll be the reliable presence that clients can count on every day. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support patients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Administer medication following care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to identify any changes or concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or community activities Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and household chores Document patient progress, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when necessary Strong patient observation skills to monitor health status and respond appropriately Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs measurement, CPR, first aid, and HIPAA compliance Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly valued Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing client needs while maintaining professionalism Join us in delivering exceptional home & community care by providing compassionate support that enhances quality of life.
