Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health stability Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, implementing personalized care plans Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Maintain a safe environment through manual handling techniques and safe patient lifting practices Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition for residents Support group activities and behavioral management strategies to promote engagement and well-being Perform light cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards within the care environment Document all care activities thoroughly in compliance with resident rights and facility policies Experience Previous assisted living or long-term care experience is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, geriatrics, and behavior management techniques is beneficial Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications related to medication administration or safe patient handling are a plus Familiarity with residential or home & community care settings enhances suitability for this role Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations including seniors and individuals with disabilities Experience operating standard passenger cars for client transportation or errands is desirable but not mandatory Join us to provide compassionate care that makes a real difference!
