Responsibilities Location:

Director of Linda's House Status:
Part-time, Non-Exempt Pay Rate:
$17/hour Linda's House Support & Safety Operations Assist with day-to-day Linda's House operations and provide direct resident support Be familiar with and follow all HIC policies and procedures related to Linda's House operations Maintain compliance with all Attorney General provisions related to Linda's House services Support enforcement and communication of safety procedures (fire, tornado, intruder) Participate in emergency drills and ensure resident awareness of safety protocols Complete HIC Hotline and Domestic Violence training as required Resident Services & Advocacy Offer advocacy and support services to guests as needed, with a trauma-informed, nonjudgmental approach Assist with resident intakes, updates, and participant documentation (e.g., PSSNs, Empower DB entries) Help pack/move client belongings as needed; clean and prep rooms for new arrivals Transport clients to appointments and services as assigned Promote positive engagement with residents and foster a supportive environment Facility & Environment Care Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and communal areas Support supply restocking and room setup for incoming guests Assist with basic facility needs, including laundry and cleanliness routines Observe and report facility needs to the Linda's House Manager Team Collaboration Attend scheduled staff meetings and participate in team communication Coordinate with other Linda's House staff to ensure smooth daily operations Model professionalism, trauma-informed care, and agency-aligned practices Complete a minimum of 16 hours of relevant training annually and maintain documentation Other Expectations Maintain a calm, problem-solving mindset in urgent or high-stress Linda's House situations Uphold a nonjudgmental and empowering stance when supporting victims/survivors Be willing to work within agency guidelines, philosophies, and trauma-informed frameworks Maintain a general knowledge of community resources and service referrals Be able to lift, move, or assist with client belongings and donations as needed
