Part-Time Caregiver for Veteran

•Bend, OR (Weekends) Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a male veteran in Bend.

Schedule Available Shifts:

Saturdays:

8:00 AM

•12:00

PM Sundays:

7:30 AM

•11:30 AM Applicants who can consistently cover some or all of these shifts are encouraged to apply! There may also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts with other clients based on your availability and current client openings. About the Client We're seeking a caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an older male veteran with Parkinson's disease who benefits from hands-on assistance with his morning routine, personal care, mobility, and everyday activities. The client uses a walker and can experience stiffness, weakness, and occasional unsteadiness. Caregivers should be comfortable providing varying levels of assistance with transfers and mobility while encouraging the client to remain as independent as safely possible. Care Needs Include Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care Toileting and incontinence assistance Mobility support, transfers, and fall prevention Meal preparation and occasional feeding assistance Companionship and encouragement with walking and exercise Light housekeeping and laundry Medication reminders Monitoring and recording blood pressure as directed Please note: The client has a dog in the home, so caregivers should be comfortable around pets.

Pay :

Up to $23.00/hour , based on experience.
