Our caregivers help clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable while delivering exceptional customer service and respectful, person-centered care. This is a non-medical position . No skilled nursing or medical procedures are required. Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Dressing Grooming Bathing assistance Toileting and incontinence care Mobility and transfers (with appropriate equipment when needed) Prepare meals and assist with nutrition. Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and tidying living areas. Provide medication reminders (no medication administration). Accompany clients to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and community outings. Monitor clients' well-being and promptly report changes in condition to the office. Maintain accurate visit notes and documentation. Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and their families. Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity, privacy, and independence. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance preferred. Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with Oregon requirements. Eligible to work in the United States. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we provide paid training. Preferred Qualifications Compassionate and empathy driven attitudes Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those living with dementia.
