Job Description

Job Summary Almost Family - Lebanon is searching for an experienced Full Time Caregiver to join their team. In this role, the Caregiver will provide compassionate, quality care to clients in their assigned areas. The Caregiver will ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of clients while providing services to meets their clients' emotional and physical needs. Compensation & Benefits The hourly rate for this position is $19-$21 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will also receive benefits such as competitive health and vacation accrual packages, retirement plans, continuing education, and more. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities and daily living needs (bathing, feeding, grooming, dressing, mobility needs, etc.). Prepare meals, monitor diets, and assist with taking medication in accordance with clients' individualized care plan. Assist with light housekeeping, shopping, errands, and other related tasks. Encourage physical activity and social interaction to keep clients physically and mentally healthy. Monitor client health and provide status updates to family members and visit nurse. Maintain accurate and timely records of care services. Take initiative to identify any potential safety concerns and take corrective action.
Requirements:
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently while following established care plans and agency policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
