Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' vital signs, observe health status, and report any changes promptly to healthcare professionals or family members Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring safe food handling and proper hygiene practices Administer medications accurately according to care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through memory care strategies and personalized engagement activities Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings using safe driving practices and client-centered communication Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, update care plans regularly, and ensure compliance with all safety standards including first aid and CPR protocols Requirements Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments; experience with geriatrics or hospice care is highly valued Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or neurodevelopmental disorders support Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; familiarity with equipment such as Hoyer lifts is preferred Strong understanding of resident's rights, HIPAA regulations, and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus Certification in CPR and first aid; additional training in Alzheimer's care or memory care is advantageous Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed; reliable transportation for client outings is required Join our team to provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference! Pay:

$21.50 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
