Job duties include: Provide in-home care and support to clients, including elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, or individuals recovering from illness or injury Assisting clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting Help with medication administration Taking vitals, height, and weight Meal preparation and feeding clients Transporting clients to appointments Support for hobbies and social activities Light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and other errands Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals Skills Ability to lift heavy objects and assist clients with mobility needs Knowledge of basic care principles and first aid procedures Experience in meal preparation and understanding of dietary requirements Familiarity with social work principles and ability to provide emotional support to clients Ability to administer medications accurately and safely Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals Understanding of resident rights and ability to advocate for clients' needs.
