Overview:

Southeast Regional Health and Human Services (SERHHS) is seeking a compassionate In Home Caregiver to join our dedicated team. This role is temporary with 12 hours shifts, 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am. Candidates must be willing to work 3-4 days total. Prior experience needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to foster a positive and nurturing environment.

Requirements:

• 3-5 yrs of proven experience as an In Home Caregiver or similar role.
• Knowledge of outpatient care practices and procedures.
• Experience working in Home Care is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in caregiving is a plus.
