Personal Care Aide Transitions Healthcare Shook Home is currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Aide to join our team of caregivers. Personal Care Aide Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs. Provide compassionate assistance while promoting resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safety. Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate team member. Assist with maintaining necessary resident care supplies and notify leadership when additional supplies are needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Communicate and work effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and other members of the care team. Work independently while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility leadership. Personal Care Aide Qualifications A genuine desire to care for and support older adults. Dependable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers. CPR and First Aid certification. Current Medication Technician certification preferred. Previous personal care, assisted living, senior living, or related caregiving experience preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer #THCSH
