Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance for a female individual in her own home. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring that the individual unique needs are met with kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. Your efforts will directly enhance the quality of life for those you serve, fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained. Support patients with mobility and transfer methods using equipment such as patient transfer techniques to ensure safety during movement. Provide companionship and emotional support to client, engaging in meaningful conversation and activities suited to their interests. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for residents. Assist with transportation for appointments or errands, ensuring safe and timely arrival while respecting residents' rights and preferences. Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR certification requirements, manual handling techniques, and heavy lifting when necessary. Proven experience working with individuals in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings. Knowledge of muscle and brain atrophy. Experience with patient monitoring techniques including vital signs measurement and medication administration. Strong understanding of resident's rights and confidentiality standards under HIPAA regulations. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
