This position focuses on providing homemaker and chore services that will help create a safer, cleaner, and more organized living environment. The individual receives support through the intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) system and has experienced recent health challenges resulting in decreased mobility. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others maintain a safe and comfortable home while making a meaningful difference in their daily life. What You'll Do As a Homemaker / Home Support Professional, you will provide hands-on assistance to improve and maintain the individual's home environment.
Responsibilities include:
Perform deep cleaning throughout the home
Assist with decluttering and organizing living spaces
Help improve household safety by removing unnecessary clutter and hazards
Complete household chores such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Assist with laundry and general household upkeep as needed
Organize common living areas, bedrooms, kitchen spaces, and storage areas
Support the individual in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment
Communicate with Abound Health team members regarding progress and ongoing needs
Complete required documentation and service notes

Must be 18 years or older
Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
Ability to perform cleaning, organizing, and household maintenance tasks
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
Ability to lift and move household items as needed Previous homemaker, housekeeping, caregiving, cleaning, or direct support experience is preferred but not required—paid training is provided. Schedule
