Assists residents in preparing for and transporting to and from medical appointments, activities, and social programs.
Checks residents' vital signs, measures weight and height, and records data as instructed; reports any variances to the Charge Nurse.
Answers resident call lights promptly to attend to needs; frequently checks those who are unable to call for help.
Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devices, as instructed.
Assists the Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator with the development and execution of the activity calendars with flexible scheduling for coverage, to include evening and weekend hours as assigned.
Provides on-going Lifestyle Enrichment (group and self-directed).QualificationsHigh school diploma or its equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years of ageMinimum one year of Activities preferredProfessional experience with geriatric residents in a Personal Care Home preferred.
