Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Provide compassionate care tailored to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort Engage residents in social activities, group outings, and recreational programs to promote mental stimulation and well-being Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injuries for both residents and staff Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, Alzheimer's support, and geriatrics is essential Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as vital signs measurement and medication assistance Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required or obtainable upon hire Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed A compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable populations in home & community care settings Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives!
