NuChoice Health Partners, a leading home care agency serving the Northwest of Pennsylvania, is seeking compassionate and trustworthy Direct Care Workers to join our team. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities such as meal prep, errands, and light housekeeping Assist with medication reminders, managing medications, and ensuring timely administration Help with personal hygiene and grooming, promoting independence and autonomy Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers Document client care activities and progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting to supervisors as needed
Requirements:
0 years of experience (or equivalent training) in healthcare, customer service, or a related field Ability to work part-time and full-time schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable) Ability to lift, bend, and move client supplies and equipment (up to 50 pounds) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team How to
