About ASAP Development Center ASAP Development Center is a community-based Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program serving adults, children, and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges. We help participants strengthen everyday living skills, increase independence, develop healthy relationships, and connect with community resources. We are seeking motivated, compassionate, and dependable Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinators who take initiative, communicate professionally, and follow through on their responsibilities. Position Summary The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinator provides individualized, goal-focused support to help participants develop and practice skills that improve their daily functioning and quality of life. This role combines direct client services, community engagement, care coordination, and accurate documentation. Successful candidates must be comfortable managing appointments, traveling to service locations, building positive working relationships, and completing records within established deadlines. This is a rehabilitation and skill-building position, not a psychotherapy position. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized rehabilitation services. Conduct client visits and deliver activities connected to the participant's Individualized Rehabilitation Plan (IRP). Help participants strengthen coping, communication, social, self-care, and independent-living skills. Maintain consistent client engagement. Coordinate appointments, follow up on missed visits, identify barriers to participation, and maintain appropriate communication with participants and their families or caregivers. Complete accurate, timely documentation. Enter progress notes, monthly summaries, and other required records in the agency's electronic health record system. Documentation must accurately reflect the services provided, the participant's response, and progress toward identified goals. Support rehabilitation planning and coordination. Contribute to assessments and IRP development, reviews, and updates under the guidance of the Rehabilitation Specialist. Coordinate with authorized treatment providers, caregivers, and community resources as appropriate. Participate in program activities. Attend required supervision, meetings, and training, and support individual or group rehabilitation activities within the scope of the assignment. Maintain professional and ethical standards. Protect confidential information, maintain appropriate boundaries, follow agency safety procedures, and promptly communicate significant concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications Education and experience:

A high school diploma or GED is required. Relevant education in psychology, social work, counseling, human services, or a related field is preferred. For assignments serving children and adolescents, candidates must meet at least one of the following education or experience pathways: an associate's or bachelor's degree in a health-related field; at least 30 college credits toward a bachelor's degree in a health-related field; or one year of work experience in a supervised mental health setting.

Professional skills:

Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, organization, and dependable follow-through. Candidates must be able to build respectful relationships with participants from diverse backgrounds.

Technology skills:

Ability to use email, electronic records, and basic office applications. Experience with PRP documentation and Noteable is preferred.

Travel and screening:

Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned service locations are required. A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are required when driving in connection with services. Candidates must complete applicable background screening, onboarding, training, and supervised-service requirements. Compensation and Contract Terms Compensation ranges from $20 to $30 per completed client visit, based on qualifications and relevant experience. Earnings are calculated from completed visits for each assigned client during the month. This is visit-based compensation—not an hourly wage or a guaranteed monthly salary. The contractual rate includes the associated responsibilities of the assignment, including documentation, care coordination, travel, required meetings, training, and related work. These responsibilities are not compensated as separate hourly activities under this arrangement. This is a part-time independent-contractor opportunity without employee benefits .
