Direct Support Professional (PASS) $25.00/hour Safety & Daily Living Skills / Part-Time / Evening Hours / 10-20 hours/week Work with children to foster independence in home & community
Location:
Pawtucket Schedule:
(Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. & Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)What You'll Be Doing:
Visiting a client's home three to five days a weekday evenings for a 3-4 hour shift. o Some cases may require a 3-4 hour shift on Saturday or Sunday morning/afternoon Helping a young person to learn necessary daily living, safety, and social skills (e.g. crossing the street, cleaning up after themselves, sharing with others, etc…) Coaching family members and caretakers to reinforce clinical strategies consistently Documenting behavioral data, shift notes, and client observationsWho We're Looking For:
A high school graduate age 19 or older, With a valid driver's license, and legal personal vehicle, Capable of taking short but detailed and clinically accurate shift notes, With a calm, consistent, and patient personality Candidate must provide a clean background check and permit the agency to run a DCYF clearance check with the state.
