• 8• and 12-hour shift opportunities available Day, evening, overnight, and weekend opportunities One-on-one care that allows you to build meaningful relationships with clients Support from a nurse-led clinical team Opportunities to grow with BrightStar Care of Charleston Responsibilities Provide personal care services according to each client's individualized plan of care Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility Assist with meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, errands, shopping, and transportation as appropriate Assist clients with active and passive mobility as directed by the plan of care Observe and promptly report changes in a client's condition to the appropriate clinical team member Maintain accurate documentation and protect client privacy and confidentiality Provide dependable, compassionate, and professional care in the client's home Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum of one (1) year of documented caregiver or home care experience Current hands-on/in-person CPR certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or an equivalent approved provider; online-only CPR certification does not meet this requirement Current valid driver's license Reliable automobile and current automobile insurance TB screening/clearance in accordance with agency requirements Ability to adhere to HIPAA requirements and maintain client confidentiality Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull as required to safely assist clients Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, depending on the needs and mobility of the client Pre-Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required pre-employment screening, including: Criminal background check Drug screening Verification of required credentials and employment qualifications If you are a dependable caregiver who wants meaningful work, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team, apply today for immediate consideration.
