Job Overview Giving Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide Personal Care Services to a client in the Columbia, SC 29212 area. This is a consistent part-time position providing one-on-one care in the client's home. The ideal candidate is dependable, caring, professional, and committed to helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Schedule Monday, Wednesday, Friday10:00 AM-4:00 PMApproximately 20 hours per week Pay$13.00 per hour Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the client's plan of care Assist with personal hygiene, grooming and dressing as needed Provide mobility and ambulation assistance as needed Assist with meal preparation and eating as needed Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care Provide companionship and supportive care Observe and report changes in the client's condition Follow the client's established plan of care and Giving Care policies Maintain client privacy, dignity and confidentiality Qualifications Reliable and compassionate Dependable transportation to the client's home Ability to consistently work Monday Wednesday Friday, 10 AM-4PM Personal care/home care experience preferred Must be able to successfully complete all required employment screenings and onboarding requirements About Giving Care At Giving Care, our mission is simple: Help You Can Trust.
