Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care they need in a comfortable environment. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in various medical settings, including geriatrics and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications and manage medical equipment as needed. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor and document clients' health status, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans. Qualifications Familiarity with geriatrics or working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is advantageous. Experience in inpatient care or within a teaching hospital environment is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to pass background checks and meet any required health screenings.
