ZIPCODE 38118
area. This rewarding role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing assistance with daily activities. You will deliver personalized care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity while fostering independence and well-being. Your efforts will help clients maintain their quality of life in a familiar environment, promoting health and happiness every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety. Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and utilize proper manual handling techniques for safe transfers. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and adherence to resident's rights. Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities to enhance mental well-being. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience working with individuals requiring personal care assistance, including home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care settings. Experience working with seniors, individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly valued. Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, patient monitoring, and safety procedures such as CPR and first aid is essential. A background in managing complex needs like memory care or autism support is preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while adhering to HIPAA standards is crucial for success in this role.
