Duties Provide attentive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence. Support clients with daily routines such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and laundry to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Monitor health status by observing changes in physical or emotional condition and communicate updates promptly to family members or healthcare professionals. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Manage emergency situations calmly and effectively, including administering first aid or contacting emergency services when necessary. Maintain detailed records of care provided, daily activities, and any incidents to ensure continuity and quality of service. Respect client privacy and uphold confidentiality at all times while fostering a positive, respectful relationship. Skills Demonstrated compassion with excellent interpersonal skills to connect genuinely with clients of all ages. Strong communication skills to effectively listen, follow instructions, and report observations clearly. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility safely. Reliable time management skills to ensure punctuality and consistency in caregiving routines. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs or schedules while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Experience or certification in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued.
