The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and providing companionship. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide patient care including medication reminder and monitoring vital signs. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to appropriate personnel. Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia. Provide direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Qualifications Experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is required . Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is required . Up to Date Negative TB Test Valid Driver's License Active Auto Insurance Policy Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices is essential. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued. A compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others are critical for success in this role.
