Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Youth Direct Care Professional and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care and support to youth in various residential and community settings. Your energetic approach will help foster a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with youth, applying your care giving expertise to promote well-being, independence, and positive growth. Must be 21 or older with a valid TX driver's license, reliable transportation, and be a HS graduate or have a
GED. MUST
pass: Background checks Drug screen TB test CPR first aid Endure a physically demanding environment Move over long distances Detect resident conversations Observe resident's actions. Ideal candidate is responsible, accountable, mature, and able to model positive behaviors for the girls.
Other duties include:
Deep cleaning, laundry, offering snacks and cooking Frequent checks Organizing Taking children to doctors/dentist appointments Assisting with late-night emergency placements and paperwork of abused and neglected children Staying awake all shift Assist with school work
Qualifications:
Pass drug screen and background check Previous job experience preferred but willing to train Over the age of 21 Reliable transportation GED or High school diploma
