Job Description
Join Our Team at Caprock Home Health! We're seeking caring and dependable caregivers in the Christoval area to provide in-home support to CLASS clients. We offer flexible schedules with variable hours, including weekends. Job Summary The CLASS Caregiver provides compassionate, in-home support to CLASS clients by assisting with personal care, daily activities, and household tasks based on each client's individualized care plan. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with meal preparation Assisting with grocery shopping and errands Providing personal care and hygiene assistance Performing light housekeeping and laundry Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed Providing companionship and emotional support Reporting changes in a client's condition to the appropriate supervisor Accurately documenting time worked using the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) (EVV) system Following all company policies, safety procedures, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Physically able to perform personal care tasks Must have a High School Diploma or GED CPR Certified Ability to follow directions, maintain accurate documentation, and keep records Reliable transportation Must not have a criminal conviction that bars employment Must have no adverse findings in the Nurse Aide Registry or Employee Misconduct Registry Physical Requirements Must be able to perform personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely assist clients with transfers and mobility Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, stand, walk, and use household equipment for cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry Must be able to see, hear, and communicate effectively to ensure client safety and recognize changes in client condition Ability to travel independently to clients' homes, follow care plans, use the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system, and maintain a work schedule Reasonable accommodations or assistive devices may be available to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position Caprock Home Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
