Make a Meaningful Difference Seniors Helping Seniors® Cypress is hiring compassionate, patient and dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Your caregiving experience—whether professional or gained while helping a relative or friend—is valuable to us. Professional caregiving experience is welcomed but not required; paid orientation and training are provided. What We Offer $15.00-$15.50 per hour, based on experience and assignment Paid orientation, caregiver training and ongoing education 24/7 caregiver support and a new-hire mentorship program Local assignments, including opportunities within approximately 15 miles of our office Referral bonuses, performance-based incentives and caregiver appreciation events Paid time off after applicable tenure and eligibility requirements Page 2 What You May Do Assignments vary by client and may include: Provide companionship, conversation and social engagement Prepare simple meals, complete light housekeeping, provide medication reminders and run errands Assist with transportation to appointments when assigned Help with dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, safe transfers and mobility Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia What We're Looking For Compassion, patience, dependability and respect for client dignity Friendly, professional communication and respect for client confidentiality Availability for some weekend shifts Professional or personal caregiving experience is helpful but not required Ability to complete assigned care tasks safely, with or without reasonable accommodation A valid driver's license and current auto insurance when driving is required for an assignment Pre-Employment Requirements Selected applicants must complete all applicable pre-employment screenings, which may include criminal-history, drug-screening and driving-record checks. We also verify employability through the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Employee Misconduct Registry as required.
