• Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
• Facilitate safe mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition based on dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' health, behavior, and needs, and report findings to healthcare professionals or family members as necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, or social activities, ensuring safety and punctuality.
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, family members, and team members to deliver coordinated and holistic care.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and training guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred.
• Previous experience in home care or related fields is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Physical stamina and ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care needs.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy and dignity.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is preferred.
