Job Description

Looking for someone to replace our part-time caregiver in August 2 days a week (9am-4pm). We homeschool our 4 children (ages 2,4,6, and 7) and care for my disabled Dad, but I need help one day a week so I can work (ideally Tuesday, but can be flexible).
These days consist of:
completing crafts, projects, or worksheets, or taking walks and monitoring independent play, preparing and serving lunch, tidying up meal or craft spaces (with the kids' help), and refilling the old man's coffee cup. On Wednesdays, we host the other small children in our co-op at our home while we school the older children. That day looks like a combination of indoor/outdoor play, serving packed lunches, and possibly napping some of the littles. There will be my 2-y/o, another 2 y/o, and possible (2) 1-y/o's where mothers may be present with them or come and go. My Dad mostly keeps to himself, doing word searches, or wobbling outside to smoke a cigarette, but will need meals served to him too when the kids eat. You'll need thick skin (or ears) because the only words he can say after his stroke are curse words :) His favorite if "F you" in different inflections. There is never a dull day here! Looking for someone playful and fully-engaged, but who can enforce my rules and ensure the kids are behaving and being respectful to you and one another. We are a Christian home, and pray before meals with the kids. Would love to have someone who can also help in the evenings with babysitting from time-to-time. We are an open-book, so please feel free to ask any questions about our family.
