This energetic and dedicated position offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and foster a safe, supportive environment. Your efforts will directly impact the well-being of clients by assisting with daily activities, managing health needs, and offering companionship. We are committed to empowering our caregivers with the tools and training necessary to deliver exceptional care in a respectful and nurturing manner. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure patient health and safety Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely move residents with mobility challenges Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting findings to healthcare professionals promptly Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and adherence to infection control protocols Assist with light housekeeping duties to promote a comfortable living space for clients Support residents' emotional well-being through companionship, active listening, and engaging activities Follow detailed care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Experience Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and medication administration procedures Hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as dementia or autism spectrum disorder Familiarity with safety protocols including CPR and first aid certification is essential Experience in long-term care environments that require compassionate social work or hospice care skills is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Strong understanding of HIPAA privacy standards and confidentiality practices in healthcare settings Join us if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference through dedicated caregiving!
