Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare teams Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal presentation and feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities Assist with transportation for appointments or community outings, ensuring resident safety during transfers and outings Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, patient monitoring, and resident's rights is essential Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice care or dementia care is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and use patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts effectively Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Valid driver's license or reliable transportation for assisting with personal transportation needs Join us to provide compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
