Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a PRN Caregiver, providing vital support to individuals in need of personalized care in a welcoming community setting. This immediate-start position offers flexible hours every day from 6pm to 10pm with a potential for 24 hours live in care in the future. As a Caregiver, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support medication administration following proper procedures and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness of resident living areas, including cleaning personal spaces and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment Follow individualized care plans diligently while providing compassionate social interaction and emotional support Skills Proven experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer's care practices Ability to perform CPR and first aid confidently; certification preferred but not required Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare team members Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous Embark on a rewarding caregiving journey where your skills directly impact lives.
