In-Home Caregiver TexMed Home Health, Inc - 3.1 Killeen, TX Job Details Full-time $13 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Personal transportation assistance Full Job Description Texmed Personal Care is looking for compassionate individuals to provide non-skilled care for clients in the comfort of their own home. The caregiver may be asked to perform a variety of services based on the clients' needs such as grooming assistance, medication reminders, light housework, cooking, bathing assistance, and transportation assistance.
Pay:
From $13.00 per hour
JOB DUTIES/KNOWLEDGE
Caregiver will follow the individualized service plan as outlined and agreed upon by the agency and client.
The Caregiver provides the following:
Develop and maintain excellent rapport with clients and co-workers. Performs client services according to the individualized service plan. Helps the client to maintain good personal hygiene. Assists in maintaining a healthy, safe environment. Coordinate and prepare nutritious meals for the client. Engaging with the client in a positive way that is enriching to the client. Establishes a relationship with client and family, which transmits trust and confidentiality. Document care of client and duties as outlined in the client service plan per agency protocol. Effectively communicates to the agency team. Reports any change in the client's mental or physical condition or in the client's home situation to his/her immediate supervisor.
FUNCTIONAL ABILITIES
: Must be able to lift, turn and transfer clients weighing up to 200 pounds. Must be able to lift and carry items up to 10 pounds. Must have reliable transportation to and from clients residence. Must have a working smart phone.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate and/or GED graduate.
Caregiving Experience:
1 year (Required) Driver's License (Required)
Killeen TX:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Must have the ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to read and write consistent with job requirements.
