•$15.00 per hour About Alora's Refuge Alora's Refuge is a licensed residential treatment center dedicated to guiding and empowering young girls (ages 5-14). We provide a safe, trauma-informed, family-like environment where youth receive personalized care, education, and therapeutic support to reach their full potential. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Delivery Caregivers to join our team. Available Shifts

•10hr

Shifts Afternoon Shift:

1:00 PM

•11:00 PM (Full-time / Weekend availability is required) Overnight Shift (Awake Coverage): 10:00 PM

•8:00 AM (Full-time / Weekend availability is required) Key Responsibilities Provide continuous direct supervision and care to ensure each child's safety, health, and emotional well-being. Support daily routines, flexible program activities, meals, personal hygiene, and recreational time. Implement individualized Service Plans and utilize trauma-informed de-escalation techniques. Maintain daily progress notes and complete routine shift documentation.

For Afternoon Shifts:

Serve as a designated driver for school, medical appointments, and community activities.

For Overnight Shifts:

Conduct continuous awake bed checks (at minimum every 20 minutes) and maintain status logs. Collaborate and share shift transition updates with incoming caregivers to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications & Requirements Age Requirement:

Must be at least 21 years old.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by TEA or similar entity).

Certifications:

Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Driver's License:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for driving positions).

Background Check:

Must pass comprehensive DFPS background checks, fingerprinting, and a pre-employment drug screening.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, patience, sound judgment, and physical/emotional capability to perform assigned duties. Experience in childcare or behavioral health is preferred. Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay ($13.00
