As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will help enhance the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Duties Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or developmental disabilities through dedicated memory and behavioral care Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform patient transfers safely using proper techniques Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with patient care Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs, including dementia or memory care patients Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed Join us in providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
