The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient observation and adherence to care plans while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with medication schedules. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including specialized care for dementia patients or those requiring hospice care. Maintain cleanliness in the living environment to ensure safety and comfort for clients. Observe patients closely for any changes in condition or behavior, documenting observations accurately. Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive patient information. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and medication administration is a plus. Experience in hospice care or dementia care is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families are essential.
