Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and creative play. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques to promote a respectful and cooperative environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, behavior, and developmental achievements to foster strong home-school connections. Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining child welfare standards, and executing first aid and CPR procedures when necessary. Support children's social skills development through structured activities that encourage interaction, sharing, and cooperation. Maintain organized lesson plans and documentation aligned with early childhood education standards and classroom management best practices. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings; prior classroom experience is highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and administration. Certification in first aid and CPR; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is required. Ability to develop curriculum content that promotes literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall child welfare. Experience with preschool teaching methods including lesson planning and standardized testing where applicable.
